Physicians and physician assistants work with clients to promote optimal health and provide care during illness. These positions provide fulfilling and rewarding experiences in the health care field.

There are many specializations and subspecializations within medicine, each dealing with specific illness, treatments and patient populations. Some physicians work directly with patients. Others conduct research to aid in disease control or the development of new treatments. Physicians may combine some of both of these activities into their busy days.
