Physical therapists work with clients to restore them to optimal functioning.
Physical Therapists, or PTs evaluate and treat people who have difficulty walking, standing, moving their joints or with muscle strength due to injury or illness. Physical therapists are assisted by physical therapy assistants (PTAs). Frequently PTs go to worksites to evaluate work that is being done and how to eliminate injuries, they may set up an exercise program or rearrange the work environment (ever hear of ergonomics?) While physical therapy is a great career there are few training programs with limited seats available, it is very difficult to get into a program.
