A career in radiologic technology can provide many different opportunities. The opportunities for employment are very good. Hospitals, outpatient clinics, and physician's offices all need radiology technicians. You can specialize in dozens of clinical areas from prenatal (before birth) to orthopedics (bones). You would have an opportunity to work on the latest technologies. You could become a manager of a radiology department, or you could teach in a radiology program.
